The following is the text from Easter message by Governor Hope Uzodimma to the good people of Imo State to mark the celebrations of Easter, by Christian faithful, following the conclusion of lent.
“In this sacred season, I rejoice with the Christian faithful in Imo State as we celebrate the glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.*”Easter is more than a tradition; it is the cornerstone of our faith, a reminder that through Christ’s victory over death, we are offered eternal hope and a renewed purpose.*”May we, as one community in Christ, embody the virtues of humility, compassion, sacrifice, and forgiveness – the very essence of our Lord’s journey to the Cross and triumph over death.*”Let this season stir us to be more generous with our love and steadfast in our service to one another.*”I pray that God continues to guide our dear State with peace and unity.*”May His resurrection power lift every burden, restore every broken heart, and strengthen our collective faith.”
