The second edition of the D’BIO Wellness and Selfcare Summit, is scheduled to take place between 24th to 25th September, 2025 at Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.The two day event will attract a diverse group of healthcare practitioners as well as wellness and Selfcare advocates. Selfcare is a vital component of maintaining optimal health and wellness. By prioritizing selfcare individuals can improve their physical and mental well- being, increase productivity, and enhance overall quality of their life.The Convener of the summit, Dr Monica Hemben Eimunjeze noted that, the Summit is geared towards driving positive and maximum healthcare outcomes with the sole aim to enhance health literacy, empower individuals and again reduce pressure on health systems by promoting selfcare generally. Its maiden edition according to Dr, Eimungeze attracted over seven hundred and fifty participants, with well over two hundred captains of industries in attendance.
The summit interestingly provided opportunity for stakeholders to engage, interact and network whilst expanding on the theme which was ” Advancing Wellness and Selfcare: prospects and perspectives”.This edition, the convener also harped would attract notable personalities, including Mr. Fidelis Ayebae, Chairman, Fidson Healthcare, PLC who will serve as Chairman of the occasion.Dr Victor Afolabi, FPSN, Ph.D, CEO, Hazon Holdings/Co- founder Wellness HMO, will take the stage as the Keynote speaker.”We have renowned experts across disciplines as moderators and panelists who will drive engaging discussions around topical areas of the theme and sub themes; Selfcare in the workplace” and Selfcare, Climate Change and your Health”. There will also be opportunity to engage through our Exhibition and access quality Products and services within the wellness and Selfcare space” she stressed.Ultimately, staying informed, unlocking employee potentials, building resilience by developing coping strategies including seeking support and taking actions by prioritizing selfcare to mitigate the impacts of climate change according to Dr Monica,is a panacea to creating a healthier, and more sustainable future for all and sundry. The Summit is open to the general public.
