Philanthropist from Ogwuaga Autonomous Community Abba in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State has employed about 80 Youths. Speaking with cross section of Ogwuaga residents he said that he has employed and fully trained 45 more Ogwuaga Youths from all the 15 Kindreds that make up Ogwuaga Abba Autonomous Community, bringing the number of employees (youths) directly under his payroll from Ogwuaga to 80 people. He said that this will contribute significantly in reducing poverty, criminality and all forms of unlawful activities that are prevalent among Jobless youths. Okezie Chikere Akwiwu has vowed to eradicate if not completely, at least by 98%, unemployment in Ogwuaga Abba by engaging her indigenous people with reasonable paying Jobs irrespective of their levels of education. Under his leadership and employment,strategy, Ogwuaga citizens, both educated and non educated persons earn more than 300k a month, which is three times higher than the minimum wage.
