President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commissioned a Six kilometer Federal high way connecting Owerri, Imo State and Umuahia, in Abia State, also commissioned district flyover, and unveiled APC administrative book titled ‘A Decade of Progressive Governance’ written by the governor of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodimma. Speaking during the ceremony, President Bola Tinubu commended governor Hope Uzodimma for his courage to write such wonderful book at this critical period of his administration. Similarly, the ceremony was graced by all governors of All Progressive Congress (APC) across the Federal Republic of Nigeria and some selected Traditional Rulers across South West, South South, and South Eastern Regions of Nigeria.
Meanwhile the president of South -East Youth Parliament in Imo State Comrade George Atuloma, who expressed dissatisfaction over continued detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, implored President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to grant him presidential pardon on this 65th Independence Anniversary. In the same vein Chief Samuel Opera condemned Imo State government over militarization, closure of over 42 Markets and shops and all motor parks Imo State for the coming of president Tinubu, adding that the action didn’t demonstrate Democratic Governance but portrays Oligarchy. In his word “A Decade of Progressive Governance” a book written by Governor Hope Uzodimma simply means legalisation and encouragement of long suffering of Nigerians under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.” APC has thrown Nigerians in perpetual situation of subjective injustice, he concluded.
