Obidient Movement Reacts As NURTW Leader Allegedly Threatens To Harm Non APC Supporters In 2027.

The Obidient Movement has decried the threats by the leader of the Lagos state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Mustapha Adekunle popularly known as Sego against non APC supporters in 2027 general elections.The reaction of the Obidient Movement was contained in a statement that the National Coordinator, Yunusa Tanko shared on his official X handle on Friday, October 3, 2025. According to the report, the NURTW leader told those who will not be voting for the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Lagos state to stay away from voting centres. In a statement that surfaced online, Yunusa Tanko alleged that violence was unleashed on several members of the Obidient Movement and supporters of Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election. He, however called for the arrest of the NURTW leader. He said;” no Nigerian should be threatened for exercising his rights”.
