The Journey Begins
Nnenna is a professional logistics operator with more than 30 years of industry practice and experience, however like everything else in life and everyone, there was a beginning. A graduate of the prestigious university of Calabar, she was among the pioneer staff of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), as a drug interdiction officer for the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
As a young graduate, she consciously sought and acquired experiences that would position her for leadership in the logistics world and also ensured she kept herself busy all through her stay in FEDEX. Graylink Flex Freight Services, Service Solutions, and till date Proservice Global Solutions are according to Nnenna, marked a defining moment in the history of global logistics in Nigeria.
Her involvement in cargo business dates way back to 1992 when she joined the operations department of FedX /Red Star Express. While there she combined her core duties in Customer Service, Ground and Airport Operations with Sales and Marketing and went on to attain the level of Customer Service Manager. Having attained this height, the lure of further challenges within the sector led to her leaving the organization honourably in 1996. The next phase after she left was to set up the very first fully indigenous courier and logistics company (Graylink Flex Freight Services Nigeria Limited) where she was the General Manager. This subsequently led to Service Solutions Ltd, a fully Integrated Logistics Company which specialized in Import and Export, licensed Customs clearing Agent, Licensed General Sales Agent for Foreign Airlines, Aircraft / Vessel Charters, Project Management, Haulage, Distribution, Warehousing etc.
There is many layers to Nnenna Udechukwu that reeling them out would amount to disservice if some of her achievements as well as industry growth and qualifications are omitted. Business Involvement
In the year 1996 after I left FedEx to start Graylink Flexfreight Nigeria Limited with my late Boss and Business Partner, Mr Mike Onwurah of blessed memory and we revolutionized and redefined the Cargo Business World in Nigeria. From then till date, it has been a steady growth year on year with remarkable growth in Project Management, Import and Export Cargo Agents, Airline General Sales Agency, Aircraft and Vessel Charters. Our strategic and wholesome partnership with LINK(Logistics International Network), a close knit union of passionate professionals managing logistics firms with a personal touch twenty four hours a day and three sixty five days a year in more than eighty countries, thereby guaranteeing instant responses and efficient door to door service to all our Clients worldwide, not minding how big or small the job to be executed might be at any point in time.”
Thoughts On Cargo Business
Cargo Business in Nigeria is huge especially when you consider our population and our import based Economy. However, the challenges in the Industry almost equals the potentials as it is riddled with a whole lot, ranging from the regulatory bottlenecks, multiplicity of Agencies, touting, duplication of Taxes and poor logistics infrastructure to mention but a few.
Be that as it may, the great growth potentials are quite high considering the unprecedented role of bridging the gap across/between all industries and countries.
Despite all the challenges, the growth potentials of the Industry are quite enormous. Once basic attention is given to the Industry and the controlling and overbearing bottlenecks positively addressed, the business dynamics will change dramatically. This will reduce the cost of operation and increase productivity and efficiency.
Navigating The Business Environment In 2025
It has been a very challenging year navigating through the business climate in Nigeria as the battle has been on all fronts, including but not limited to fluctuating policies, insecurity of goods and persons which adversely impacts on operating costs, inflation, high operating costs and multiple taxation. Despite all these, we have remained resilient and stable and have ensured quality service delivery at all times while expecting a better operating environment in the coming year and years.

Interests Aside Business
I am a firm disciple of the old school of thought that believes that all work and no play makes jack a dull person. Simply put, I work hard and I equally play hard, if not harder. I prefer to travel with family, stay and party with friends and generally read and relax at the slightest prompting
Regrets If Any
No regrets whatsoever. Life and family is good. Business, especially with my Partners (who are more like family too) worldwide is equally good and can only get better.
Relaxation
Outside business, I prefer to be around friends and family. I dedicate a lot of my time anonymously to Charity works and church activities. I am big on reading and traveling especially for fun.
