From Marcel Duru Owerri

Political Commentator and Social analyst Chief Mike Nzeribe has predicted that All Progressive Congress(APC) might disintegrate before 2027 general election in Imo State. Speaking with Journalists at Rock View Hotel Okigwe Road in Owerri, Imo State yesterday, he revealed that defections of former Deputy Governor Prince Eze Mmadumere to African Democratic Party(ADP) and the former Chief of Staff Chief Ejiogu to PDP is a sign of total disintegration of APC in Imo State. He said that Prince Eze Mmadumere and former Governor of Imo State Senator Rochas Okorocha were the founders of APC in Imo Sate and they have control of APC grass root across the 305 electoral Wards of the 27 Local Government Areas of the State.

Nzeribe further revealed that right now over 250 APC Ward Chairmen and women leaders have defected with their clandestine leader Prince Eze Mmadumere. “Remember that the incumbent governor of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodimma was not the grass member of APC, but hijacked his membership from the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.” Similarly Prince Eze Mmadumere during his defection to ADC said that ADC remain the party to beat come 2027 owing to trained democratic leaders like former Governors Peter Obi, Arigbosola, Ddavid Mark, Amaechi, amongst others, adding that the party has good products in its leadership considering what Governor Peter Obi has done in Anambra State. He gave assurance that he must put all mechanism in place to make sure that ADC get lands slide victory in Imo State in particular and Nigeria in general, as there is hardly any other party that could defeat ADC come 2027 general election in present Nigeria.
