To most people, the two important days in life are the day of birth and the day one goes back to the creator, God.On the flip side, we have also come to another realization that, the two important days in ones life are the day one came into the world, and the day he understands why it happend.Very important is the place of legacy at the event of ones passage to glory. For Nneoma, Nwanyiokwukwe Monica Nwafor Akagburuonye Amuchie (Nee Uwakwe), aka, mama Success, left behind at the time of departure positive foot print that will stand the taste of time.She came into the world as the youngest of five children born to her parents, Nwannediya and Uwakwe. Just like it happened in her earthly entrance, she also bidded the world goodbye as the last surviving child of her family. A unique nature of life story, you may call it.
Nee Uwakwe left behind a legacy of sound spiritual disposition, a woman of faith, who stood tall to be counted among the genuine Christian faithful. Her story was that,she was among the first converts of the missionaries that brought Assemblies of God Church to Nigeria in 1938.She held on to the faith she professed and propagated early in life until when she breathed her last on the 4th of July,2026.Married to Mazi Nehemiah Akagburuonye Amuchie of Umosike, Ogbor Uvuru, ABOH Mbaise in 1953 and together they were blessed with nine children, seven (7) of whom are alive today. Amongst the children is Chief, Dr. Barr. Success Akagburonye, a real Estate Mogul and Philanthropist based in Abuja,Mama according to family sources fulfilled her mission on earth, leaving no liabilities behind for her family, but instead good name,and trust in God which the family wears as cloak.Born in 1921 to the family of Uwakwe of obokwu Amaisii in Uvuru Aboh Mbaise L.G.A Imo State, she lived to the ripe old age of 105 when she finally succumb to the cold hand of death on the 4th of July, 2026.
Mama would be fondly remembered amongst other things; Her special ways of singing songs of praises and also for her fervent prayers.She is survived by 7 Children, 52 grand children, 22 great grand children, daughters inlaw and sons Inlaw. As the family prepares to commit her to mother earth, her enduring peaceful nature and unwavering faith and love which now resides with the celestial being lives on. Her humanity will continue to reign in the hearts of all who encountered her during her lifetime, a part of her legacy to her family, community and humanity at large which she will be remembered for. She dedicated almost a Century of her life to prayers, Lived near Century of Godly wisdom. Mama, sleep well. Your race is finished. We will tell your story to the unborn. May your gentle, loving, kind soul rest eternally with God, your maker.
