Imolites across the three Senatorial Zones of the Twenty Seven Local Government Areas of the State have congratulated Oshun people for being courageous enough to chase out the wild dog in their State Speaking with jubiliating Imolites over the declaration of Governor Adeleke in Owerri, Imo State a former Chairmanship aspirant of APC in Imo Hon ken Orjiako said thatAPC leadership allowed internal crisis to jeopodise the structures in all the States of the Federal particularly Imo State He highlighted that new introduction of culture of opulence, arroganceand profligacy contributed to the fall of the party, they believe that once you’re in power you can determine the future of the party without consideration.
Orjiako also stated that over-reliance on incumbency APC executive members have relegated the party to the background of dust andtheir reward system is zero,for instance, the founding fathers of the party are relegated to please new members who have no diverse ideas in electoral matters.Orjiako also said that the loss in Oshun State was predicted and that the party does not have the luxury of time to make amends ahead of 2027 General Elections.”Lack of proper planning, over confident and lack of campaign strategy also contributed to the shameful defeat of APC and over thirty governors that mapped strategies for the Oshun State Governorship election.”
