The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Zone ‘A’ has decorated newly promoted officers in a ceremony that exemplifies the Service’s commitment to excellence and professional growth.During the ceremony which held at the Customs Training College, Ikeja, Lagos, on Thursday, 23 January 2025, the Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘A’, ACG Charles Orbih congratulated the promoted officers, acknowledging their dedication, integrity, and significant contributions to the nations economic security.
His words, “Your elevation is a testament to your exceptional dedication, unwavering integrity and outstanding contributions to our nation’s economic security.” “The service has demonstrated remarkable fairness and thoroughness in selecting the very best among it’s officers for promotion, ensuring that merit and performance remain the bedrock of career advancement”, the ACG noted. ACG Orbih emphasised the importance of upholding the highest standards of service delivery and ethical conduct saying, “A lot more is expected of you by the service because of this unalloyed promotion being bestowed upon you today.
You should continuously exemplify the great leadership qualities that is expected from you wherever you are assigned to by the service.” He also encouraged officers who were not promoted to prepare harder for the upcoming exercise.The newly promoted officers were overjoyed with their new ranks and vowed to deliver their best performance, ensuring the Nigeria Customs Service’s mandates are successfully executed.
