As campaigns for elections into Lagos State Local Government Area’s and L C.DA’s hots up, Hon. Abiodun Olumide Fatoki, Chairmanship aspirant for the Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos State, officially declared his vision for transformational leadership. The ebullient and highly intelligent Abiodun Fatoki declared his intentions for the transmission and Visionary development of the LCDA at an event which brought together political allies, business associates, and community stakeholders. Fatoki’s boldly ceased the event to state his ambitions to light up Alimosho through exceptional grassroots governance and community-driven initiatives. Addressing the audience, he described his candidacy as a significant and deliberate step to usher in meaningful change, stating “You can’t just take a step without first counting the cost, and I thank God that I am among those who have come out to let their intentions be known. Yes, I’m running. It’s my turn for Alimosho Local Government, and I am not desisting. I am not going back. I am not saying no to it. When it talks about money, only God owns all things. Glory, honor, and wealth belong to Him alone.”
The chairmanship aspirant also emphasized his commitment to programs that reflect exceptional governance. Speaking on the perception of inadequate structures, he said:“Exceptional programs beget exceptional governance. Some might say we lack structure, but today, we represent 40% Baruwa, 40% Ayobo-Ipaja, and many associates in business. I want to thank you all for coming, and I am calling on everyone to register and join the progressives let us collectively light up Ayobo-Ipaja.”Hon. Fatoki highlighted the importance of inclusive and collaborative leadership, urging residents to actively participate in the journey toward grassroots transformation:“Leaders don’t force people to follow them; they invite them on a journey. So, I invite everyone here to join this journey—a journey to demystify governance and transform grassroots government in Alimosho.”The event featured vibrant discussions on political engagement, with attendees pledging their support for Hon. Fatoki’s vision. Dressed in the event’s purple and white theme colors, participants reflected the unity and hope driving the campaign’s momentum.
A high powered delegation of a political collation popularly known as the Big Four presented a gift to Hon. Fatoki. Concluding his speech, Fatoki reaffirmed his dedication to fostering a brighter future for Alimosho: “This is our time, and together, we will build a brighter Alimosho.”The program highlighted Hon. Fatoki’s resolve to combine grassroots participation with visionary leadership, setting a strong foundation for the upcoming local government elections.
