There is no gain saying that NDDC has in recent times gained a lot of positive development and made giant Strides.The Renewed Hope mission statement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’ led APC government should be commended for these milestones, as the Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, on Friday, June 13th, commissioned key projects in Calabar, Cross River State.The Minister, received by NDDC MD Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, lawmakers, and board members, unveiled the Ultra-Modern NDDC State Office, a new 8.137km road network, and launched the distribution of handheld tillers to local farmers in the State.
Speaking during the ground breaking unveiling, Engr. Momoh commended the NDDC for aligning with the federal mandate to deliver visible impact across the Niger Delta, describing the projects as “practical proof that governance is working for the people.” Dr. Ogbuku reaffirmed the Commission’s focus on sustainable development, while stakeholders including Senator Asuquo Ekpeyong pledged continued support for NDDC’s mission. With cheers from the crowd, the Minister declared the facilities open — symbolizing a new era of progress in Cross River State.
