There is a wind of change blowing at the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Secretariat, Airport Chapter following the assumption of office by a new Chairman in the person of Hon. Bola Asiru-Balogun. For many, a Daniel has come to judgement following the assumption of office by this purposeful, visionary, detribalized and tested man of the people. A consumate freight forwarder and cargo expert you may call him, he has been around in the air cargo industry for almost three decades.The highly experienced Freight Forwarder has served the Association in various capabilities as a member of ANLCA, MMAC, Chapter and has also contributed tremendously to the building and development of the Association and as such, has promised to restore the Chapter on the path to purpose driven leadership.
A leadership that will enhance credibility, peaceful work environment and further increase revenue generation through harmonious relationships with all government Regulatory Agencies at the gate way chapter. Hon Asiru said; ” My assumption of office as the chairman of the chapter comes with the heavy burden and responsibilities. My team is motivated and determined to restore the Association to paths of credibility and visionary leadership. We are all very much aware of all the challenges and are ready to take them head on. We want to create a decent and harmonious win- win working relationship with all the regulatory government Agencies and all stakeholders. The task ahead calls for an inclusive leadership and I want every stakeholder to know that we can restore this chapter to it’s past glories. I therefore enjoin every licensed Agent, Importers, Exporters and all critical stakeholders in cargo at the gateway to please work for the progress of ANLCA, MMAC.”
Meanwhile, the Special Assistant on Media to the Chairman Mazi Chukwunenye Obiezu also pointed that the new chairman will make himself accessible to all stakeholders and promised that Hon. Ashiru will run an open door administration. Earlier, the Hon. Chairman and his Media assistant reached an arrangement to work with Upright magazine as media partners. As the media partners to ANCLA, Upright magazine with over 20 years Aviation industry experience behind it, is expected to drive and positively project the association and its activities across multi mediums and also generate contents and ideas capable of propelling this great Association and professional body to the larger society. Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) is one of the major Associations duly recognised by various government agencies operating at the MMAC, with large number of memberships.
