The Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner (RACC) of Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Offences Commission (ICPC) in Imo State Mr Victor Onakponeruo has Stated that the Anti-Graft Agency has tracked over 82 Constituency Projects Worth N12.32 billion in Imo StateSpeaking in Owerri, Imo State recently he disclosed that Constituency Project Tracking82 projects worth ₦12.32 billion was tracked across 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State under Phase six of Constituency and Executive Project Tracking Initiative CEPTIHe highlighted that the Constituency Projects were tracked in Imo East and Imo West, including Nkwerre, Njaba, Isu, Ideato North/South, Owerri West, Mbaitoli Local Government Areas of Imo StateOnakponeruo further stated that the Agency was keen to ensure value for money, to stop abandoned/shoddy projects, and to enforce due process He projected that The Agency has carried out comprehensive Sensitization for Imo staff on anti-corruption laws, offences like bribery/abuse of office punishable by up to 7 yearsadding that they have Inaugurated Students’ Anti-Corruption Club at Boys’ Secondary School, New Owerri to “catch young citizens early” and ICPC recovered funds for Imo State Polytechnic Umuagwo from defaulting distant learning coordinator ICPC has also arrested Fraudsters Paraded four women in Owerri who allegedly defrauded traders in Imo and Abia States.
