The Chairman of African Democratic Congress in Imo State Professor J. Okoroma has said that the Party might consider the demand of the youths in Owerri zone to cede Owerri Gubernatorial ticket to Chief Emeka Ihedioha.Speaking after the stakeholder’ meeting held in Owerri, Imo State recently, he said that Emeka Ihedioha is a round peg in a round hole adding that he represented Owerri Zone very well in the Federal House of Represented from 2003 to 2009.”Chief Emeka Ihedioha is a renowned and Democrat who knows the demand of present democratic reality in Nigeria”Similarly, ADC Chieftain and Political Scientist in Owerri Zone Chief Sam Anukam said that Emeka Ihedioha is unbeatable when come to Governance adding thatbetween 2003 and June 2009, a tototal of 48 Bills were passed by the House of Representative as Private Member Bills.Out of this number, he sponsored one which has been signed into law and was principal facilitator of Seven. He highlighted that he have sponsored two key bills boarded on the Internationa Convention for the Safety of life at sea (Ratification and Enforcement) 2004 Passed and Signed into Law in June 2004.
