The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Kaduna Area Command, on Thursday, 23 July 2026, commissioned the SG Hassan Fitness Hub following an Inter-Agency Games organised to promote physical fitness, teamwork and stronger collaboration among security agencies.The sporting event featured football, basketball, volleyball and badminton, bringing together officers and personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Nigerian Army, Nigeria Immigration Service and the Nigeria Customs Service.Speaking at the commissioning, the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Sa’ad Hassan, said the fitness hub was established to encourage regular exercise, recreation and healthy living among officers and personnel of the Command and other security agencies.”The facility is designed to promote physical fitness, recreation and wellness. It will also provide a dedicated space for training and help sustain the gains of our inter-agency sporting engagements,” he said. Representatives of the participating security agencies commended the initiative, describing it as timely and beneficial. They noted that the facility would strengthen existing partnerships, encourage healthy interaction and further enhance cooperation among sister security agencies in Kaduna State. The event concluded with the formal unveiling of the SG Hassan Fitness Hub, underscoring the shared commitment of the participating agencies to promoting physical fitness, operational readiness and sustained inter-agency collaboration.
